-A temporary home, made of the earth but not on it, suspended in midair
- Inhabited by creatures that fly
-To be assembled, used, and reassembled elsewhere using entirely new materials
A Nest Maker
-One who can make and take refuge in precarious circumstances
-Adaptable gatherer with keen sight
Do birds long for legs? Do birds tire of remaking nests, and wish instead to be groundhogs, or prarie dogs? Or does the expanse of their sight, the thrill of their flight, uplift them? Perhaps home is not the nest, nor the air itself. Perhaps home is in the flier- whether she is airborn or settling into her perch.
